“Dear Barbara,

I just wanted to take the time to put this into proper words, and not send you a hastily scrawled "thank you" because I truly appreciate the training you gave me while I was in Oklahoma for the past year and a half. I was losing my sense of performance, just struggling to make ends meet at a thankless job. But since starting lessons with you, I began to reclaim some of that joy I had in performing again. It's because of the training and the recitals that I finally decided to go finish my Theatre degree and pursue this career as a performer. You stretched my voice in a way that I don't think I would have done with any other voice coach. I got a little more grounded in a style of singing that I had no exposure to before our lessons, and for that, I just want to say "Thank you" from the bottom of my heart.
