December 2023 Update:

“I am about to start my last semester at the University of Tulsa! I'm currently part of the University of Tulsa Capella Chamber Singers, and our annual fall concert is on Friday. Our Christmas concert is on December 3rd. I'm also part of my church's chancel choir, and we're preparing for the advent season. Beyond that, I'm staying busy wrapping up my degree in political science and beginning to look for job opportunities after graduation. It's a lot of singing and a lot of paper writing, and I'm doing my best to enjoy every moment I can.”

“While not majoring in music or in vocal performance, I am in the honors cappella group here at the University of Tulsa, and I continue to sing in my church choir back in Muskogee. Singing is still a massive part of my life. I’m majoring in political science, with minors in creative writing and women and gender studies

Thank you again for the scholarship. It was really, immensely helpful. When I started college in 2020, my family’s financial situation was extremely tight, and the Timothy Long Award did a lot to help alleviate that burden. I truly cannot thank you for it enough.
